Avalon offers a Family
Living Service where older people and adults with a physical or
learning disability can live in a local family home. This can be for
a short break or for long term support. ‘Family Living Providers’ can be families, couples or single people, and they are given a lot of training in order to be able to provide support from their own home. They are carefully checked and approved so that our customers are safe. Our existing customers also participate in that approval process. We also work hard to make sure that customers only stay in a family home where they will enjoy spending time, and their individual needs will be supported. This service is supervised by the Commission for Social Care Inspection and a qualified member of the Avalon team to ensure high standards are maintained. |
